The fact that my birth was not planned and that I faced many difficulties in my life makes me no less worthy or worthier than anyone else to be on this earth. We are all born for a purpose and unless identified and fulfilled we remain empty and unhappy striving for material success rather than success of purpose.

We are all a manifestation of God and must deliver on that inheritance. My purpose is the inspire and ignite the potential that is not only in some of us but in all of us. I have been blessed and I believe firmly that to whom much is given much is expected. However I need all of you as my support, to keep me on track and guide me as we journey toward delivering on our purpose with passion and clarity.

My Mom passed away 8 years ago and she was the training I needed to realize my purpose and deliver on it. She taught me great values such as the importance of resilience, tenacity, passion, the ability to laugh (even if at myself, forgiveness, integrity, honesty, love and the respect and valuing of ALL people despite position or stature.  Your values after all are seen in your behavior and your behavior will become your habits after all. Your habits determine your actions and ultimately the outcomes we have to live with. Make sure the ingredients you put in will create the exact results you do want. We do reap what we sow after all.

Be appreciative  of the lessons and the people in your past current and future. Without them,  the who and the what you are would not have survived. Without your hardships or your pleasures, you would not exist. I know I am here for a reason. I know that you are here for a reason. We are not accidents. The fact that you are reading this is not an accident. We have a purpose and there is a plan for our lives.

As the people who came before us made our lives possible we have the opportunity to make the best life possible for others. Let’s use this gift of life we have been given and make a positive impact!

My mom always told me I was going to do something special and somehow through all the difficult times in my life I heard her words and believed them. She as well as the many other mentors I have gained gave me the greatest gift an adult can give a child or an adult. They believed in me. They called out the best in me and now I carry their prophesy for me, with me and in me and share their legacy each day.

I am Dionne Miranda Chamberlain and if no one has told you, I want you to know that you are special. You are here to do something meaningful. I believe in you. You are meant to make a difference. You can start today or you can continue the greatness you began when you did.

We are in each other’s lives for a reason a season or a lifetime!
