Development Director
Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified individuals to fill the above mentioned position with assigned duty station in Placencia Village, Stann Creek District.
Post: Development Director
Reports to: Executive Director
Salary Scale: Negotiable
Qualifications: Preferably a Masters degree in Business Administration, Development, Management or Planning, minimum Bachelors degree. A minimum of ten years development experience.
Proven Development experience including grant writing and management of a donor database.
Terms of Reference/Responsibilities
Responsible to coordinate all funding of the organization; securing donations through grant project submissions, Business development and other funding source; assists with fundraising activities; works with other staff to ensure proper project development, implementation and reporting; is a member of the management team.
DUTIES
- Develop a sustainability plan for SEA
- Develop and implement fundraising plan
- Develop and Manage Donor database
- Responsible for the development of grant proposals
- Responsible for ensuring Website can be used as a fundraising tool
- Develop a plan for Project funding
- Work with each department to secure appropriate project funding
- Implement the Private sector plan and begin securing funds
- Serve as liaison with national and international film companies and crew
- Act as representative of the organization from time to time
Deliverables:
- Develop annual work plans
- Prepare monthly progress report
- Prepare concept papers and grant proposals
