As these young minds develop, their imaginative solutions will undoubtedly influence a brighter, more sustainable future.
Pallotti High School students triumphantly carried a gold medal home from the 2023 Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Challenge in Panama. Amber Wright, Alair Marin, Irian Jones, and Osyani Magana won first place for their brilliant concept, “Smartz” – a pair of glasses and a mobility cane meant to inform visually impaired individuals of surrounding items. The Pallotti High School Team was chosen from a pool of 9,000 students from a hundred high schools around Latin America and the Caribbean. They displayed extraordinary talent and originality on the global arena.
